    Ninja 1100 Blender

What can the Ninja 1100 do better than my other blender?

This amazing machine is a true multi-tasker. Among other things, it can:
    • My Ninja 1100 can mix doughs, batters, puddings, and pie fillings

My other blender could mix a thin batter, but that’s about it. It could not handle cookie dough, let alone bread dough. Pudding and pie filling were just too thick!
    • My Ninja 1100 can crush ice for beverages and snow cones

With the old blender I could get some chips off my ice cubes. But it would never really crush the ice, even on the ice crushing setting!
    • My Ninja 1100 can make smoothies, frozen alcoholic drinks, and sorbets

In my old blender, fruit and veggies would always get stuck around the blade. I had to do a lot of “turn off, dislodge food, turn back on, repeat.” Frozen mixtures just globbed up in the bottom of the container.
    • My Ninja 1100 can grind nuts and seeds into flours and butters.

With my other blender I usually got some roughly chopped nuts and then some pasty butter around the blade. I can’t say I ever really got a nut flour till I tried the Ninja!
    • My Ninja 1100 can knead yeast doughs

Frankly, my old blender just wasn’t built for that. It had no dough blade and didn’t have the power to knead dough.
    • My Ninja 1100 can grind coffee beans

My other blender didn’t know the definition of the word “grind.” And coffee beans were just a challenge for it to handle.

    Ninja Pulse

The complete juicing process of Ninja kitchen blenders is totally different from that of extractors or other blenders. The Ninja makes juice in just one step. It’s not necessary to mix some of the ingredients before adding others, or to mix first and add ice later. Just put everything in the container at once and start the pulsing.

Whatever you put in the container will be used to make a juice drink. All of the parts--skin, pulp, and small seeds--are blended down to a liquid. Large pits and stems should be removed before the fruit is put in the container. Bitter seeds such as apple and pear may be removed as well to avoid unpleasant taste in the juice.

The majority of the nutrients of a fruit or vegetable are in the skin and pulp. Why waste valuable vitamins and minerals by throwing away what’s left after juicing? By combining all the ingredient parts, the Ninja Pulse incorporates all the nutrients of the fruits and vegetables into the juice. Nothing is left to discard.

That also means no straining of the juice is necessary. Since the solids and liquids are thoroughly mixed, there is nothing to strain out from the juice. And finally, there’s no waste to dispose of in compost bin or trash can. There will be no soggy clump of debris to remove from the Ninja container after you enjoy your delicious homemade juice.
